AquaCera® ceramic water filter elements start with our Ceramic DE (diatomaceous earth) micro-filter. Advances in the ceramic filtration manufacturing process result in a more effective and efficient means of treating a wide range of waterborne contaminants. Modern manufacturing practices give our ceramic elements a more controlled and consistent pore structure. Our ceramic range is available with or without a carbon core, which allows greater flexibility in choosing the right filter based on your water filtration needs. Ceramic elements are unique in that they are cleanable, when particulate build up occurs on the surface, instead of throwing the filter away they can be cleaned to restore the flow rate and to get the full life out of the filter element. Ceramic elements are designed to remove suspended particles, they will not reduce TDS (Total Dissolved Solids).
All of our filter elements have been independently tested for rated claims and capacities.
Our range of CeraMetix®, AquaMetix®, and CeraSyl™ filters are NSF Certified under Standard 42 for material requirements.
